SIDE 1:

I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND (ONLY SONG LISTED WITH BMI AND NOT ASCAP)

(ALL OTHERS ASCAP)

I SAW HER STANDING THERE

THIS BOY

IT WON'T BE LONG

ALL I'VE GOT TO DO

ALL MY LOVING

SIDE 2:

DON'T BOTHER ME

LITTLE CHILD

TILL THERE WAS YOU

HOLD ME TIGHT

I WANNA BE YOUR MAN

NOT A SECOND TIME

The Album measures 12-3/8 inches square and weighs 11 ounces. Conditions are as follows:

Cover: The cover shows light wear with some gentle creasing at the bottom and minor surface impressions. As mentioned before, there is a small split of the cover on the left side of album, but not completely. It can be repaired and made like new, by a restorer. There are very few white areas that show light browning from age, especially near the edges. Wear is much less than typical.

Sleeve: The original sleeve is not included in the album. but I have a white sleeve that is protecting the album and will ship with album.

Vinyl: (Side 1) Some very light surface scratches are seen running across multiple tracks, but nothing really to mention...the album looks great. No deep scratches and doesn't affect play at all. Label in center looks great and u can read the song list without any problem. All lettering is clear. It almost looks brand new. (Side 2) I don't see any surface scratches noted and it really looks great. No deep scratches at all.

This is a nice example of this rare Beatles First Edition, showing far less wear than these albums typically received. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

THIS IS IMPORTANT!

For those of u wondering about which album that u are bidding on...here is some helpful information I found.

There are four distinct variations of the Meet the Beatles LP - one of which holding a much higher value than the other three. Here's how to tell which variation  it is:

First Variation

This first one was pre-produced before released and rather than wait for the performing rights organization credits to arrive they simply omitted them from the first run. This only happened at Keystone (on the East coast) and should have the number 3 on the back bottom-right of the cover.(for Scranton) (Mine does have the 3, but it does have one song listed as BMI, so i fall out of this category and fit into Second Variation of the album). The First variation, these labels don't have either BMI or ASCAP on the song-listings label and in the condition of EX- VG+ can sell for around $100-150.

Second Variation

After the performing rights information arrived, they were duly added to the labels, but there was a mistake in them so this particular variation is short-lived. (This sounds interesting, since there was a mistake in adding this important information and it was short-lived. Thus..rendering this a more valuable album, in some eyes.) These copies only had the first track of side one listed as BMI, whilst the rest were all credited to ASCAP. This is the "Meet The Beatles" album of mine that u are bidding on, in this auction. These are quite hard to find, and in the condition of EX-VG+ can sell for any amount.

Third Variation

This is by far the most common variation out there. If you look at the side 1 label the first two tracks are credited to BMI whilst the rest are credited to ASCAP. These are everywhere and made up the bulk of the mass-buying of the fans, and as such a copy in the condition of EX-VG+ is in is worth of around the $10-12 mark.

Fourth Variation

These came out in 1966 and since the fans were up to buying Revolver at that time they're pretty hard to find. These have BMI credited to all the songs on the side 1 label and are worth, in the condition of EX-VG+at about $15-20.

I hope this helps to verify which variation you are bidding on(SECOND VARIATION) and that it answers all the questions you were asking. If there's anything else you'd like to know, then please don't hesitate to get back in touch and I will do the best that I can to help answer them.

PLEASE READ THE CHART BELOW FOR GRADING INFORMATION BEFORE BIDDING. I USUALLY GO A STEP BELOW IN GRADING, TO BE PERFECTLY FAIR. I ESTIMATED THIS ALBUM EX-....WHICH, IS REALLY GREAT!

VINYL GRADING: •New: New  •Sealed: Record is in its original seal and has not been played.  •Mint: Mint (as new). In perfect condition.  •EX: Excellent. The record has no major marks or audible faults. It has been played, but well taken care of.  •EX-: Excellent minus. The record shows some sign of having been played, but has very little lessening in sound quality. On an LP perhaps one or two tracks will have faint crackles or pops.  •VG+: Very good plus. The record has been played regularly. There may be visual marks on the disc that are beginning to sound e.g. crackles on several tracks.  •VG: Very good. The record has been played regularly and is showing signs of wear . There will be visual marks, and surface scratches, thus there will be audible pops and crackles. Or the pressing run may be poor, causing constant hiss.

SLEEVE GRADING:  •New: New.  •Mint: As new condition. In perfect condition. The sleeve should appear to never had a record in it.  •EX: Practically as new, Clean. No writing, no ringwear, no splits, it has been used, but handled carefully. It may have minor blemishes and wear.  •EX-: As above, BUT possible minor creasing and/or slight edge scuff, very slight ring wear, small writing on back cover i.e. a name in pencil. •VG+: Can include minor bending, visible ring wear, minor splits, small writing on sleeve. Normal wear and tear, but no damage to the visual beauty of the sleeve.  •VG: Sleeve wear is beginning to detract from cover art. Can include major creasing and/or splits (but not sleeve separation), major staining and ring wear.
THANK U SO MUCH!
