THIS is part of a collection of promo vinyl that I'll be listing over the next few months. It comes from a prominent 1990s NME journalist. 

THIS TREMENDOUS PIECE OF HISTORY is a white label test pressing of Mega City Four's debut LP Tranzophobia, that was manufactured for Decoy in 1989. 'The Megas' toured ferociously throughout their nine year career and the album title is a reference to their Transit van in which, even by the time of this debut LP, had been a second (or perhaps first!) home for Wiz, who died much too young in 2006, and the other band members.

It has the same 14 tracks as the commercially released LP, both labels are blank (slightly pink in colour), and it is housed in a plain white, poly lined, die cut paper sleeve. Also included is the PRESS RELEASE, which I've redacted in my photo to preserve its rarity for the buyer.

CONDITION: Near Mint SHINY VINYL, NO SIGNS OF USE OR HANDLING but may have been played carefully at time of release before being stored. (I don't grade plain or generic sleeves or additional items such as press releases, which are as seen in the photo(s)).

WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSINGS: Produced for the record label in very small quantities (sometimes as few as 10) to check that there are no faults in the mastering or pressing processes. Sometimes there are enough pressed for promo purposes (typically around 50-100).

NOTE: I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise. Everything I list is on a similar coloured blue/purple background so that you know they are my own photos.

PACKAGING: Mailing envelope designed for 12" records with an additional cardboard stiffener.

The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and a minimum of 13.5% of the p&p charge taken by eBay & Paypal (yes, they really do that!).
