Description
Only 250 rare UK promo-only 7" album sampler box sets of U2 The Joshua Tree Collection were made, but there were a very few number of these box sets with a mispress of the Album Sampler no1 which should have had 'Where the streets have no name' on one side and 'Red Hill Mining Town' on the other but infact were mispressed with Red Hill Mining Town on both sides.
When Island Music were aware of their mistake they recalled as may as they could but a very small number made it into fans hands. I am fortunate to have owned one of the mispressed single's for the past 20 years, I do not have the full box set but only the mispress single.
The last full box set with the mispress single included was sold for inexcess of £500, I have never seen one for sale on ebay before so this is your opertunity to bid for a mint condition piece of U2 history.
A must have for any true U2 fan.

On 28-Mar-07 at 10:20:54 BST, seller added the following information:I have just been told by a someone who used to work at island records that less than 50 of these mispress singles were accidently released and that to his knowledge the last Joshua Tree Collection box set with mispress sold for over £2000 !!!
So that makes this single extreamly rare, and one of the most collectable U2 singles in existence.
I must inform everyone who is watching this single that I do have it advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to withdrawn it at anytime.
