Rare 1st ORIGINAL IRANIAN Press of mid 1970s complete with PICTURE SLEEVE and in EX~NM condition! TOP COPY!!!!! Next to impossible to upgrade upon.

Some words on this issue: MEHRPOUYA, ABBASS & His Orchestra: “Soul Raga b/w Sitar” (Sare-1013)  Bloody scare original Iranian pressing, real original copy of this killer funk psych groove ball head spinner. The textured picture sleeve is in pretty clean EX- condition with light general handling wear only, so really in top shape and there are no seam splits or any writings. The disc is strong EX to NM no scuffmarks or defects and just plays fantastic all the way through! Stupendously rare Persian psych funk gem by Mehrpouya. Finders Keepers reissued this EP but with totally different picture sleeve art, so here is a great occasion to wheel in a top copy original of this Iranian psyche extravaganza. “'Soul Raga' is amesmerizing mid-tempo instrumental workout combining luscious Sitar drones andlicks with an American-funk-styled horn motif, an elliptical bass loop andintricate tabla drums. We could easily imagine kicking back while chain-smokingheavy Iranian tabs and sipping on super-sweet coffee in a Tehran cafe to this.” (review from Boomkat). Trashed copies got sold on ebay for 286$ and up, so here you have a much better copy probably for less. Totally amazing condition from Persia! Original press.
