PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE, A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.
The auctioned item it's one of the rarest album in the UK folk and one of the rarest lps in our catalogue, 4 stars in the 4001 Pokora Book.
graded VG++/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system
label: the original Tic Toc label it's in perfect conditions because I can't see any mark on it so no spindle mark around the center hole or writings, marks...this is a very rare label and in my long collecting experience I don't remember any other lp on this label.
cover:the cover it's matt and flimsy. It's still unglued from the factory and so there are some light and small creases especially across the spine on the back. Please remember this is a private press distributed during the gigs and probably pressed in less that 250 copies so without funds to spend in the cover paper quality, altough there's gold writings that are very particular in a private press cover.
vinyl: the vinyl it's in great shape with his brilliancy totally intact. . No noises, crackles, marks...pressing it's excellent so between tracks I can't hear noises. This is a close to mint copy but I have personally played some times so can't be considered so.
review: The other private masterpiece of this welsh singer... mega rare and really great melodic folk pinnacle. Great electro-acoustic instrumentation, with Heather Jones (backing vocal), Richard Dunn (keyboards), Arun Ahmwn (drums), Roger 'Noddy' Gape (bass) and John 'Rubble' Roberts (Tenor Sax).. This is a really excellent folk album, with all self composed tracks and nostalgic and touching songs ... warm male/female voices are a soft carpet where guitars, piano, mellotron or organ gives us a true music dream....sax sound it's fascinating and a gift in the folk sound.....there's a moment for the jazz rock blues too and of the highest level....pressing it's simply great hence the sound it's perfect and sharp. Musically much better of the much more celebrated "Outlander" and ten times rarer, only few collectors may have the opportunity to have it in their collection because was sold during the gigs only. This is a record that rarelly turns up ... Don't miss!
