Description
For sale is "MEL TORME At The Crescendo," on Bethlehem BCP-6020, Mono, DG, 1957.
SOUND: EX It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Plays very nicely! Some minor, routine surface noise but overall very lovely playback.
VINYL: EX Very clean with a few faint handling/playing marks. Minor. Maroon/silver Bethlehem labels have a few faint spindles.
JACKET: NM Beautiful laminated front cover is bright and clean! Ditto for the back. Solid all-around, some very light, routine shelf-wear.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
Nice copy! Buy-it-now for $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material. Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
