Description
Mellow Candle: "Swaddling Songs" 1972, UK/Deram SDL 7. Disc has a few light hairlines on each side, plays flawlessly M-, it gets an EX grade because I don't like to disappoint my customers. Gatefold cover has just a bit of starting wear, some mild creasing across the top right corner, still EX. Has the poly-lined Company inner sleeve it was issued with. TOP COPY of the hallowed Irish progressive electric folk/rock masterpiece! This LP is hotly pursued for one simple reason... it KILLS. The performances on this LP are uniformly stunning, there's not a note out of place and the the songs are incredibly, beautifully complex. There's nothing in the UK progressive canon that can touch this for sheer quality, they sound like a group of respected music teachers gathered together to show the world how it's supposed to be done. Two incredible female vocalists soaring like birds through the arrangements, a rhythm section that any Italian progressive band would die for, melodies on piano and guitar that are jaw-dropping... this album delivers, it's a real monster.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
