What a rare blues 78 from MEMPHIS MINNIE! The female pioneer of female blues artists! She was the first female to play blues electric guitar. For you music trivia fans... She wrote and recorded "When The Levee Breaks" which LED ZEPPELIN reworked and recorded for the ZOSO album. This is her very first blues hit that was recorded in 1929! On the VOCALION RECORDS label! The record # is: 1476. Side A. is: "Bumble Bee" and Side B. is: "I'm Talking About You". The record looks to be in very, very nice condition for it's age. It still maintains a bit of gloss finish and evidence of very careful play. I would grade this at VG+ to VG++ (visually graded) The labels are in nice condition with no writing. Wow! I have just made a major purchase of ultra rare rock, jazz & blues albums! They were from Radio Station Promotion Manager Lester "Len" Miller and are from his personal collection.
