Trash Bag EP +Catalog
Up for auction is an original, first pressing 12" vinyl record: THE MENTORS. Mystic Records EP known as "Get Up And Die" AKA The Trash Bag EP, due to original release not having a normal cardboard sleeve; record was distributed in a paper sleeve, with front and back cover on two pieces of paper, inside a poly record bag. Four tracks including the classic "My Woman From Sodom".. Label is stamped "Promotional". Hard to find, Bid now!
Bonus Item: Also included here is the original Mystic Records catalog sent out with the promo record. Catalog size 8½ x11 offset printed, 10 pages advertising Mystic releases such as Hellion, Deprogrammer, Destroy LA Comp, more. Bid Now! CONDITION: Vinyl is NM- maybe played a few times, been in storage 30 years. Paper sleeves front/back both Near Mint. See photos above: front back label and Catalog pages. Goldmine Standard. Record albums are graded on visual inspection only.
COVER GRADING
Sealed (S) Still sealed in original manufacture shrinkwrap. Near Mint (NM) Cover has only the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of very light handling. Very Good (VG) A VG cover will have some slight wear or a minor 1" seam-split. VG may also have some writing, tape, residue or stickers on picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have too many problems all at the same time. A VG++ cover appears NM, with just a small flaw or two. VG++ covers have only slight wear on corners and perhaps very light ring-wear. Good (G) A Good cover is close to VG, but with slightly more edge wear, creasing and/or various signs of moderate use. Tape, writing, ring wear or other defects are apparent. Fair (F) Jacket or sleeve has seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. May be water damaged, split on all three seams and heavily marred by wear and/or writing.
