This auction is for one used Mercury Living Presence 3-LP box set ; SR3-9016 - Bach " Suites For Unaccompnied Cello ", Janos Starker.

This rare set of LP's, are thought by many to be Mercury's best recordings and were just reissued by Speakers Corner.

According to Chad Kassem's latest Acoustic Sounds catalog, the original is nearly impossible to find, with clean box sets selling for up to $1500 on eBay.

Accordingly there is a Buy It Now price of $1500.

The opening bid is $1,000.

There is no hidden reserve.

As for condition, the box itself is VG++, almost like new.

The four page insert is also in VG++ condition.

All six sides are in NEAR MINT visually. Shiny and wear-free. No scratches. No ring wear or spindle marks. No warping. Play grade is VG++ to NM : only very slight surface noise and the occasional very light tic or click. Every side sounds great. Almost like unplayed virgin vinyl. I grade conservatively according to Goldmine's system - " Near Mint : A nearly perfect record. Many dealers won't give a grade higher than this, implying ( perhaps correctly ) that no record is ever truly perfect.". If you are not satisfied in any way, return the ( same, same condition ) set for a full refund. Payment is by check or money order or wire transfer. Online payment services are also accepted.
