Description
An original early FR pressing in a colorback jacket of the spectacular recording of Prokofiev's Love for Three Oranges Suite and Scythian Suite performed by the London Sympohony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati. Mercury SR90006. A long time member of the TAS List's Best of the Best. A fabulous dynamic recording. The jakcet has begun to split the top seam at the opening and shows a little edgewear. The record has a nonsounding mark on side 2 (Scythian Suite side) but is otherwise free of any flaws. The sound is simply spectacular. VG++/NM--
I try to grade records accurately. I have found over the years that records don't always play or sound the same on different systems. I will refund your purchase price (less shipping costs) upon return of the record if you feel my description was inaccurate or incomplete in some way.
I quote shipping in the domestic U.S. by media mail which is the most reasonable. I am happy to ship records in any manner requested at the buyer's expense. I do not charge a shipping fee. On international shipments I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the cost of any shipper or box. I recommend that international shipments be sent via airmail. Recently, a number of international shipments by surface mail have been lost or simply disappeared. I prefer to combine multiple purchases in one shipment to save on shipping charges. I am happy to hold purchases for winning bidders until they want them shipped. If you want a record held, please pay for the record without shipping since ebay charges me when the auction closes.
I prefer payment by paypal which allows me to ship records immediately. However, I am happy to accept other methods of payment preferred by the winning bidder including checks, money orders, bidpay or other payment methods.
Please email any questions about a listing before it closes. I will assume that winning bidders know whay they are purchasing. Thanks
