Mercury Living Presence SR90313 TAS listed for great sound & performance Ravel/Ibert Detroit Sym/Paray. Jacket:NM-/Exc+, laminated, minor front cover wear. LP: Maroon label, RFR1, RFR1 pressing, couple scuffs produce random ticks, overall excellent. From my personal collection of over 12,000 lps, played no more than a few of times. Also, as Mercury collectors are well aware, their pressings did not have the quiet surfaces equal to DGG, Philips, JVC, or German EMI's, so it is routine to hear random ticks and pops on even a (new) previously unplayed Mercury lp, expect this as a characteristic of their pressings. As a collector of Mercury records since the early 1960's I brought them for stunning sonics and performances, not superior surfaces.
