Description

An excellent NM RFR 1/ RFR 1 pressing of the justly famous recording of Ballet Highlights from French Opera performed by the Detroit Symphony conducted by Paul Paray.  Both the record and the jacket are in excellent condition.  Features Ballet Music and the Waltz from Gounod's Faust, the Bacchanale from Saint Saens Samson et Dalila, the Danse Boheme from Bizet's Carmen, the Royal Hunt and STorm from Berlioz' The Trojans, the Overture to Massenet's Phedre and the Gavotte from Thomas' Mignon.  A stunning must have record

Time to downsize my collection.  My collection has outgrown my listening room so I'm listing many top quality classical albums from my collection to create some badly needed space.

I try to grade records accurately.  I  have found over the years that records don't always play or sound the same on different systems.  I will refund your purchase price (less shipping costs) upon return of the record if you feel my description was inaccurate or incomplete in some way.

I quote shipping in the domestic U.S. by media mail which is the most reasonable.  I am happy to ship records in any manner requested at the buyer's expense.  I do not charge a shipping fee.  On international shipments I charge the actual cost of shipping plus the cost of any shipper or box.  I recommend that international shipments be sent via airmail.  Recently, a number of international shipments by surface mail have been lost or simply disappeared.  I prefer to combine multiple purchases in one shipment to save on shipping charges.  I am happy to hold purchases for winning bidders until they want them shipped.  If you want a record held, please pay for the record without shipping since ebay charges me when the auction closes. 

I prefer payment by paypal which allows me to ship records immediately.  However, I am happy to accept other methods of payment preferred by the winning bidder including checks, money orders, cash, western union, bidpay or other payment methods.
