Description

"Metal Massacre" was the first release for Metal Blade Records and was a compilation of unsigned metal bands. The first pressing on Metal Blade contained 10 tracks.  This third pressing saw the Steeler and Ratt tracks on the first pressing omitted, with Black 'N' Blue's "Chains Around Heaven" being added as the album's opener.  The first pressing listed Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney but the recording was actually a version which neither appeared on.  A re-recorded version of "Hit The Lights" (this one featuring McGovney and Mustaine) replaced the original version on this pressing.
The outer sleeve is in overall good shape but it definitely is nowhere near mint.  The pictures pretty clearly show the condition. Inner sleeves are good.  I don't see any scratches on either side of the vinyl and it looks to be in very good condition.
