Description
METALLICA $5.98 EP Garage Days + 3 DIAMOND HEAD 12" Vinyl $5 NR!
Hello and thank you for visiting this auction!
This listing is for the following four vinyl records by METALLICA and Diamond Head:
Metallica - The $5.98 EP Garage Days Revisited
Diamond Head - Call Me 12"
Diamond Head - Diamond Lights 12"
Diamond Head - Canterbury LP
I purchased all these albums in London in the mid-eighties - they are UK releases.
For those of you that don't know, James and Lars often cite Diamond Head as an influence. Here you can hear some hard-to-find Diamond Head releases and see for yourselves if you can detect their influence on Metallica.
Condition: The records on offer come from a pet-free and smoke-free house. These were purchased new by me at the time of release. The records have been played but never abused. There are no grubby fingerprints on the LPs. The discs look Near-Mint to me.
##Note - there was a defect on the track 'Makin' Music' on most copies of the Diamond Head album Canterbury - it skips! It was only years after this release when I bought the album on CD that I got to hear the song properly.
The starting bid for this auction is $5 with No Reserve! Someone is going to get a great deal on these records.
Shipping: I will pack the records securely in a sturdy 12" record mailer. These cost 70 cents each when purchased in bulk. I will ship via media mail. Shipping costs will vary depending on the buyer's shipping address. Therefore, I am going to invoice the winning bidder an (over-)estimated $10.70 for shipping but I will reimburse any shipping costs that are overpaid. My buyers will never pay more than the actual shipping cost!
