I personally bought this in Grand Rapids MI in the 1980's at a (now closed) record store called Vinyl Solution. I would have bought this as a collector's item at the time so it is very likely that this Metallica album was never played by me as I would have already had the songs to listen to on cassette tapes. If it was played then it would have only been one time. The center label lists 1984 as the copyright, but online it seems that this would have been released 1986. This album would have been stored away and carted around in boxes with other albums as I moved to various states and homes over the years. I am not a professional grader of albums or the album jacket. The album is in wonderful condition, translucent marbled blue. I see absolutely no scratches or issues of concern. The decal in the middle of the album looks like it was made today. The original paper sleeve has no tears. The album jacket is not perfect, it has minor wear and many small creases along the edges and corners - but it is intact and in good shape overall. Please see pics, I always strive to give an accurate representation of what I am selling as it's what I expect from others when I am buying. I found it difficult to take pictures of the album itself without a glare but hopefully they are sufficient.
