The record you are considering is a RARE US ORIGINAL of THE METERS 1969 self titled DEBUT LP.

LABEL- JOSIE Records, JOS-4010, STEREO.

CONDITION

COVER is a Nice VG++ to Near MINT!!, was in SHRINK!! Worst is probably corner wear, most bottom seam corner. Shrink was torn halfway across top edge, so slight browning top open side corner area. Tiny spots of wear front three corners and top of ring. Edges and corners are strong!

VINYL is a Nice VG++!!, some light marks and hairlines. Should have a GREAT SOUND!

I got to look at it in the sun yesterday. Most visible is a inch or so fingernail mark. Strong light there is a lot of very light hairlines, none deep. Plays with light surface noise more crackle toward outer grooves. No load pops or jumps, repeaters, just random ticks. Did hand clean a fair amount of dirt and age off. Was planning on have it VIP cleaned down the street but I'm avoiding contact as much as possible. Killer record! My favorite FUNK instrumental LP. Thought it had a very ENJOYABLE SOUND! Best!! Rod
