Artist:  METERS

Title:   “The Meters”

Label:   JOSIE.  Label is “small” josie, tan with black text.  Medium thick vinyl with deep groove.  Matrix number and “Bell Sound” are machine stamped in the runout area.  Catalog number is JOS 4010.

Year:  1969

Personnel:  Art Neville – organ, keyboards;  Ziggy Modeliste – drums;  Leo Nocentelli – guitar, vocals;  George Porter, Jr. - bass.

Condition:

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Side 1 grades NM- with a couple slight paper scuffs, nothing more.  Side 2 grades nice VG+ to VG++ with a couple minor hairline scuffs, a few soft tics, no serious marks or problems.  Fidelity is excellent.  Labels are clean and pristine.  A very fine playing copy.

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++.  Reverse is beginning to show a bit of ring wear, and there are wear spots at the corners.  A few minor traces of wear along bottom seam are beginning to appear.  Reverse has darkened a bit with age.  No writing, stickers, or cutout indications.  Overall a fine jacket you will be proud to display.
