Description
Super Rare and very sought after original pressing
of this Louisiana Funk Monster!
THE METERS
S/T
Josie Records (JOS 4010 from 1969)
One of the hottest funk joints ever!
I've never seen a copy like this before.
I picked this up with an old school reggae collection
years ago where all of the records were originals
from the late 60's/early 70's.
The cover is light paper and the label is paper
and is stamped like a reggae LP's.
This is an original Jamaican pressing!
The LP has the legit JOS 4010 "Bell Sound" stamp in the dead wax!
Thick vinyl is heavy and the pressing is nice and loud!
When are you gonna see another copy like this?!
Don't sleep!
CONDITION: Vinyl EX- (general light wear- sounds great)
Cover VG (a couple of small tears - but the image area is clean and looks beautiful)
Grading Scale:
NM (NEAR MINT) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (EXCELLENT) means there's a minor flaw on the sleeve (small crease, price sticker)
or disc (fingerprint, harmless scratch).
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) means a sleeve has minor shop wear -
is creased and/or shows a ring impression, and the disc shows cosmetic signs of handling.
VG means not for the anal-retentive. The sleeve shows multiple flaws
(sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has surface noise
(no skips or thunderous pops) and multiple small scratches.
VG- means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws
while the vinyl exhibits many flaws and is noisy.
