Background -

We know next to nothing about the history of this item. We know that is was part of a large inventory that was stashed in a warehouse when the retail store closed it's doors permanently. As such, it's been sitting in a dusty warehouse for decades. It has accumulated a lot of dust on the vinyl over this time period and it really needs a good cleaning before playing for best results. The dust accumulated because these singles were never sealed in cellophane. They simply slipped into a loose fitting white paper outer sleeve, and sat for many years. The Canadian made vinyl is not of audiophile standards. The vinyl reminds us of the mix used on old Remington and Westminster LPs, which were prone to pressing defects, sharp edges, roughness around the edges and at best, decent sound. Regardless, this item is a very rare soul / funk title which is pursued by enthusiasts and DJs alike.

A Short Note About LP GRADING -

  • Mint = Only used for sealed items.
  • Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
  • Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
  • Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
  • Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

Always properly clean your LPs before playing them - even new, sealed titles!

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

Do not let this rarity slip by!
