Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Rolling Stones Original Master Recordings Legendary & extremely rare (USA only) limited edition in thick gold-hinged & embossed wooden box containing ELEVEN (11) MFSL audiophile 180-gram virgin vinyl LPs, an exclusive 32-page book containing the full size original sleeve artwork [including the lenticular 3-D 'Satanic Majesties' cover] & a Geo-Disc cartridge alignment platter. The box, covers and records are all in outstanding condition with beautiful super clean and clear vinyl - a fantastic addition to your collection, not to forget an investment item that continues to rise in value! The original master Rolling Stones tapes, from which the music in THE ROLLING STONES collection was transferred, were meticulously tracked-down by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab in both England and America. Altogether, more than 60 boxes of recording tapes were examined and auditioned, until the genuine original masters were discovered. The first three Lp's are from the original MONO masters:
The first three albums ("The Rolling Stones", "12x5", and "Out Of Our Heads") were originally recorded in the mono format, while the next six albums were recorded in true stereo. (next it talks about "Hot Rocks" being a compilation of mono and stereo tracks that they "transferred from the original master tapes...carefully spliced together by MFSL's engineers.")
We exclusively utilized the original (British) Decca master recording tapes, except for "12x5" and "Out Of Our Heads", which were originally recorded in America and first released by London Records. For the first time, you will be able to really hear how The Rolling Stones sounded in the studio and in "live" concert. The Rolling Stones collection utilizes MFSL's exclusive half-speed mastering music transference technology, the world's highest quality vinyl pressings and extraordinarily protective packaging. Because of these and other MFSL proprietary procedures, you will experience The Rolling Stones wieh imaging so real that you'll believe that they are performing live in your living room. 1. Original Master Recordings are exclusively transferred from the original stereo master tape that the musicians recorded in the studio (not from a second, third, or fourth generation copy of that master tape).
2. Each Original Master Recording employs Mobile Fidelity Sound lab's exclusive half-speed mastering process, thus capturing every nuance of sound from the master tape.
3. Quality, not quantity, is the overwhelming consideration in the creation of each Original Master Recording. The number of pressings is strictly controlled. These limited editions assure you that the quality of the last pressing matches the quality of the first.
4. Original Master recordings are custom pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC). CONDITION: The Cover: The THICK and weighty box with embossed (raised letters) Rolling Stones logo, contains a nifty gold hinge & swing door, all in top M- clean condition with exception of a couple of thin scuffs on backside of box, the front & sides are extra clean... been in careful hands the past 30 years...no problems to report, final collection copy worthy. The covers for each 11 Lp's are mint, flat and square with sharp corners.
The Vinyl: all 11 Lp's, 22 sides in all, are super smooth and clear, M- well taken care of to the point where looking unplayed...
The large 32 page color booklet is clean, the front of the book contains the legendary 3-D center that was designed for "Their Satanic Majesties Request"...please note, the thick lenticular 3-D image pasted on thin glossy paper front booklet cover has pronounced wave (uneven) = the same condition as all copies due to the way the front booklet was manufactured with the 3-D image on glossy thin paper stock. All other pages in the booklet are fine. (See Photos)
