Description

Hi!  You're looking at a SUPERB condition copy of a 2 record set which is in NEAR MINT and virtually FLAWLESS condition which is a LIMITED EDITION and VERY RARE and hard to find AUDIOPHILE issue on the great Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) label--the LP is an ANADISQ 200 Half-Speed Mastered by Original Masteringworks; Specially Plated and Pressed on 200 Grams of High Definition Vinyl; and includes two static-free Rice Paper inner sleeves to eliminate dust and minimize surface noise.  It bears the serial number MFSL 2-229.  It's in amazing, NEAR MINT condition with FLAWLESS vinyl and a virtually flawless gatefold cover, and has both inserts with full audiophile information as well as liner notes on the back cover and inner fold of the gatefold sleeve.  This is one of the harder to find MFSL issues and is a brilliant 2 LP Big Band recording titled "The Music of Elliot Lawrence" and it's in the "Jazz Showcase" Series.  The performances are led by ELLIOT LAWRENCE as pianist, musical director, and arranger and has an all-star jazz cast of supporting musicians in big band and combo configurations.  The musicians include MARY OSBORNE on guitar; GENE QUILL on alto saxophone and clarinet; ANDY FITZGERALD on clarinet and saxophone; CHARLES O'KANE on baritone saxophone; AL COHN, MORTY LEWIS, and SAM MAROWITZ on alto saxophones; BERNIE GLOW, DON STRATTON, BURT COLLINS, and STANLEY FISHELSON on trumpet;  TYREE GLENN on trombone and vibes;  JIM DAHL, EDDIE BERT, and WILLIAM ELTON on trombone; RUSS SAVAKUS and BUDDY JONES on bass; SOL GUBIN on drums; and JIM BUFFINGTON on french horn.  The selections include "Shortenin' Bread", "I Found The One I Love", "Reminiscing", "How Dear My Love?", "Anna", "Groovin' In The A.M.", "Love Me Baby", "Pavane", "Sweet Magnolia Rose", "On Montego Bay", "The Shrine of St. Cecilia", "Gone", "Did You Say Dixie?", "Alto Lament", "We'll Love Again", "Pebbles", "We Can't Go On", "Sioux City", "Autumn Time", "Blue Cha-Cha", "Dancing The Shadow Waltz", and "Paradise Rock".

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this record!

Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding!  Also be sure to check out my other vintage classical vinyl currently listed on ebay auctions--I can ship multiple purchases for just $1.00 per single LP, or can combine by weight for overseas bid wins!
