MFSL - Blind Faith - " Blind Faith ", This album is a BRAND NEW , LIMITED EDITION #1913 of only 5000 ever pressed by MFSL . I grew up listening to Blind Faith and after all these years, their albums are some of the most progressive of the day and set a standard that a whole lot of artists today struggle to get even close to. This classic album , with its stunning cover photo , introduced me to Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood as solo artists , and is one of the Blind Faiths' most sought after records as it is packed with some of the groups most respected tracks. In the 21st century I find solace in their music and an escape from the complex world we now live in. Well recorded with excellent music and lyrics they allow you to remember a bygone era when all we had to worry about was how we were going to spend an evening , who we were going to call, the wine we were drinking, what music we wanted to listen to. Getting increasingly difficult to find a clean pressing of any type, this audiophile pressing by MFSL is Long, Long Gone OOP , being pressed many, many years ago by MFSL using the original studio master tapes with utmost care, on 180 gram JVC Virgin Super Vinyl , transfered at Halfspeed to make sure every note, every breath and every feeling was put into this classic recording. The album has been REWRAPPED in a resealable Japanese protective cover as the original MFSL plastic bag has separated along its seam. The album has NEVER BEEN PLAYED . The cover has unfortunately a corner ding / crease (see photos) , but otherwise , as the photos show, in " as new condition ". With awesome dynamics and pin point imaging combined with an ultra quiet background, it is a real gem .
