MADE TO BE PLAYED AT MAXIMUM VOLUME (according to the back of the jacket) ....... CLASSIC DAVID BOWIE "THE RISE AND FALL OF ZIGGY STARDUST AND THE SPIDERS FROM MARS" featuring the hits "Suffragette City" and "Ziggy Stardust" as well as other great songs like "Starman", "Five Years" and "It Ain't Easy".
MSFL pressing in EXCellent to borderline Near Mint condition. This was playtested using a Sansui QRX-5500 Quad receiver with sound output to all four channels to highlight/magnify any flaws and was found to play (in my conservative opinion) with outstanding fidelity with just a couple minor exceptions. Virtually free of surface/background noise (NO HISS), very quiet soundfield - you can call it silent between tracks. Just an occasional random pop or two heard while listening per side. With the exception of the 1st track of Side 1 ("Five Years") where there are few barely audible (3 on scale of 10) clicks that occur near the middle of song during a louder passage of the song and at the very end of track 3 ("Moonage Dreams") there is a more audible pop followed by a couple repeat clicks just before the song ends (due to a small scratch). The lead in to the next track ("Starman") is devoid of any noise and plays perfect (10 on scale of 10). Other than these, there are NO repeat clicks, pops or skips to be heard while you enjoy listening to this classic album. LP appearance is EXC with very limited marks (hairlines or scuffs) noted.
Nice quality (VG+) jacket exhibiting normal wear to edges and corners - the worst of wear is on bottom edge. No ring/album impression to speak of. Structurally sound with no seam splits. Lettering on spine is completely visible - not worn off. Comes lyric record sleeve (not sure if this originally came with this MFSL issue or if someone added it later).
IF YOU PREFER YOUR MFSL RECORDINGS TO PLAY WITH NO HISS/CRACKLE BETWEEN TRACKS OR DURING THE QUIETEST PASSAGES AND WITH VERY LIMITED POPS/CLICKS (OTHERWISE WHAT'S THE POINT?) THEN THIS ONE IS FOR YOU.
