Description
This is a very unusual and mysterious item. It is a gold record with the label of the MFSL Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon" album. On the label it is rubber stamped in red with the word "Confidential". There are no other markings on the front or back. In the lower right corner is a trace of a rectangle where there was some kind of tag on it at some time. ----- The person I got it from said it had come from Planet Hollywood when they went out of business. If that is the case; they might have had some kind of inventory tag on it that left the rectangle mark. The numbers in the dead wax don't match the label, but I've had 18 or 20 RIAA awards; and that is always the case.------ One thing for sure; it is a very unusual and interesting conversation piece, and definitely a unique item for the Pink Floyd or Mobile Fidelity collector. ----- The thin gold and black frame measures 16 x 20. It is generally in good condition, but there are some fine scratches on the front. The back is covered with paper like you would see from a professional framer.
