Description
Rolling Stones MFSL Box Set The Rolling Stones . Limited edition Box Set manufactured by MFSL In 1984 . The Numbered Edition Box is # 6407 of the 10'000 manufactured . It contains the first 11 records released by the Rolling Stones . It also contains a Heavy paper Booklet of the 11 album covers of these albums . The cover on this booklet has the 3 D photo that came on the original release of Their Satanic Majesty Request album . I did not know it was on it untill today I had never removed it from the Box . Their is also a sealed envelope in it Im not sure because I have never opened it but I believe it contains a four page folded leaflet with band photo and information about the Collection . I also own the Beatles MFSL Box set and Im just guessing but I think it might have a letter of authenticity . I have owned a lot of MFSL Records and they usually come with a hand signed and hand numbered letter of authenticity . How ever the envelope is sealed and I am not going to open it . Perhaps you know I would appreciate any information you have . The box also contains a Geodisc alignment tool . In side the box the records come in a bright red cover with The Rolling Stones in black printed on them inside the cover is a heavy white sleeve and the record itself is in a soft rice paper sleeve . These incredible records have been mastered at half speed and pressed on virgin vinyl with all the quality MFSL is known for . If you would like more information about the pressings of MFSL records wikapedia is a easy source . The Box itself is a heavy well made wood Box with a Black finish with The Rolling Stones embossed in red letters on the side . The side of the box has brass hinges and a brass clasp On the inside of the door is the list of albums inside and a tag with limited edition number # 6407 . I also have the shipping carton with the MFSL tags . I owned Groundhogs records in Portland for 20 years . I purchased and sold lots of MFSL products including several of these and the Beatles collection box . I have never played even one of these records untill today I had never removed the book or a record out of it . This is the way MFSL shipped it to me . I am very cautious when rating a record . I think these would have to be considered mint . I am listing my personal collection now and just started this week . Please see other items . If you have any questions just ask . Photos coming soon . International buyers to pay actual shipping Good luck Vern
