Description

Offered here for your consideration is The Moody Blues’ To Our Childrens Childrens Children.  This is a SEALED Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Original Master Recording.  This particular LP is one of Mo-Fi’s Anadisc series, meaning it’s a 200 gram LP, and this copy was a relatively early one off the stampers—it is Special Limited Edition No. 1917.

This Mo-Fi LP is in perfect condition.  There are no seam splits or tears.  The original seal is completely intact, with no rips along the perforation.  The album information is nicely centered along the spine.  This LP, like all my LPs, was stored vertically in a record rack, in a pet-free and smoke-free home with year-round climate control.  The album looks absolutely brand-spanking new and factory fresh.

AMG has this to say about the album:  “The material dwells mostly on time and what its passage means, and there is a peculiar feeling of loneliness and isolation to many of the songs. This was also the last of the group's big "studio" sound productions, built up in layer upon layer of overdubbed instruments — the sound is very lush and rich, but proved impossible to re-create properly on-stage, and after this they would restrict themselves to recording songs that the five of them could play in concert. There are no extended suites on this album, but Justin Hayward's "Watching and Waiting" and "Gypsy" have proved to be among the most popular songs in the group's history. The notes in the new edition also give a good account of how and why the Moody Blues founded their own Threshold label with Children's Children and their growing estrangement from Decca Records.”

Check my feedback and bid with confidence.  Shipping is a flat $7 for USPS priority mail service, and the LP will be shipped in a sturdy and reinforced LP mailer.  Insurance is optional but always recommended.  Fast turnaround time—I’ll get your album in the mail within two days of auction’s close.  Good luck, bidders!
