Check my other auctions for lots of Mo-Fi and DCC LPs (by Steve Hoffman) this week. One of my own personal favorite Mo-Fi's this is a wonderful copy of the Sinatra box #2467. The reserve is very fair and less than half what some other copies have recently gone for. The LPs represent almost all of his Capitol output in LP form, and the records on this set are perfectly mint, most never played according to the original owner that I got it from. In my view, the most stunning LP in the set is the ONLY 12 TRACK stereo copy ever made of Sings for ONLY THE LONELY, which was originally released in mono, then a ten track version was released by Capitol in stereo in 1959. This set has the only LP with the original 12 tracks in stereo, and it sounds spectacular. All LPs were half speed mastered by the great Stan Ricker. Many of the other highlights are the first two ten inch LPs issued on the first LP here, giving you superb sound and a couple of nice long sides. In fact, most of the MONO LPs are rather long, and even still you wish these themed, or concept LPs (of which Sinatra was a pioneer) will never end. This is just superb, historical listening in this box, which is easily the best quality job of the comprehensive three boxed sets Mo-Fi produced (The Beatles recordings are themselves masterpieces, but I don't like the sound on the Mo-Fi set). There is some damage to the box which can be seen on the last two photos. This looks repairable by someone with the knowledge to do so, and the set is worth it as the rest of the box is in superb NM condition. I was told that another box was unfortunately rest on the top and that created the splits. Shipping on this LP will be $10.50 for media mail to U.S. destinations, actual elsewhere. Rest assured that your LP will be shipped in an actual LP mailer, from Bags Unlimited, with inserts and the LP placed out of the sleeve to prevent seam splits (unless you specifically request for me NOT to do this, or in cases where there is a double inner sleeve, or the LP is sealed).

  Mailing Information Back to Top LPs are mailed in proper LP mailers with cardboard inserts and the LP placed in a mylar sleeve. Other boxes are great for other things, but LPs need LP boxes for proper delivery to you. Non-sealed LPs are mailed with the record inside its sleeve placed outside of the LP jacket, in front or behind the jacket within the mylar sleeve. This method of shipping prevents seam splits on covers, and has never been known to damage an LP in any way whatsoever in a properly assembled package. I ship anywhere in the world. The cost of the mailer AND inserts is included in your shipping quote. CDs are shipped in bubble envelopes. Overseas or out of the US Air Mail will be actual plus the cost of the mailer, this is typically $13-16 for single LPs throughout most of the world, economy surface is available also, and will be quoted at the end of the auction in your winning bidder notice. Insurance is optional and dollar amount will be available at the close of the auction. You may combine LP purchases. Additional LP wins to US destinations are $1.50 for singles and $2.50 for box sets in addition to the original fee charged for the first win. The highest priced shipping item on your order takes precedence, meaning if you win a box set that costs me $10 to mail by itself, extra items are charged the above prices AFTER the $10 for the box set. Certain restrictions do apply, but the bulk of the LPs I sell will fall under this generalization. Overseas order with multiple items will be quoted at the end of auction depending on weight and destination.
