Description
MFSL 1-198 Unreleased Test Pressing of Steve Winwood Arc of A Diver.
OK I did a dumb thing. This was still sealed until about 5 minutes ago. Why did I open it? I knew what was inside, but since it was a solid white cover, I did not think that you would believe what was inside. The seal had the trademark perforation as all the Anadiscs and many of the older series did. I will include the side of the perf that I just tore off so you don't think I am making this up.
This LP was manufactured by RTI when MFSL was deciding which company was going to manufacture the Anadisc Series (I had some 1-198 pressings from a German company as well; this is the story that I have heard). This is the A/B sides of the rare and very sought after Arc Of A Diver test pressing.
The cover is white, Vinyl is unplayed (as I just opened it). Not very many of these exist in the world. I had about 7 or 10 of them a few years ago as I had a chance to bid on some of the MFSL bankruptcy stock. I sold many of them for $500 each. I also had some of the unreleased 461 Ocean Blvd and Moody Blues In Search of the Lost Chord LP test pressings (no more).
This one makes titles like Ry Cooder Jazz, Rickie Lee Jones, CSNY Deja Vu, and Eagles Hotel California look easy to find. Bid now as you may never see one again. Most are tucked deep into the MFSL collectors vault.
You can follow this link http://www.aurealm.com/blue.htm and see the title on John Harp's fantastic audiophile discography page.
I am selling a couple more test pressings, but this is the only unreleased title.
BID NOW!! Or you might forget!!! Good Luck.
