Up for auction is a very rare Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs Ultra High Quality Record (UHQR) release of "Holst: The Planets", featuring Sir George Solti conducting The London Philharmonic.Catalog # MFQR 1-510. This disc is a limited pressing, one of 5,000 copies issued worldwide. This Lp was played two times. There is one small noticeable "pop" that might possibly quiet down after the record has been played more times. MFSL never "de-horned" the vinyl, which results in minor surface noise until the record has been played several times. There are no spindle marks on the label. The box that the Lp comes housed in VG+ condition, with one split in the side rail of the lid of the box. The Lp features the Certificate of authenticity special limited edition #732, and the technical specifications information sheet. There is one small seam split on the inner cover. All foam cushioning is intact. This is a very clean Lp. I am rating it "Mint-". There are no visible marks on this record at all. This Lp is from my personal collection and I hate to part with it, but due to wanting to invest in other MFSL merchandise, I am cutting this gem loose.The winning bidder will pay $4.50 for U.S. mail's "Media Mail" service,this will include up to $100.00 worth of insurance.
