Description

AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE. I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS. This is a factory sealed copy of the Mobile Fidelity UHQR pressing of Respighi's "Feste Romane" and "Pines Of Rome" (MFQR 1-507).

Performances are by Lorin Maazel and the Cleveland Orchestra. It is one of the most dynamic albums that MoFi put out; which is why it is one of only 8 titles chosen to be released as a UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording). Great sound! 

This pressing was serial numbered and limited to only 5000 copies and they sold for $50 each back in 1978 !! Unfortunately, the serial number is on the inside so I can't say what the number is. This factory fresh sealed copy is in excellent condition with no bangs or bumps to the box. The plastic wrap is completely intact except for a small section at the top left corner, and bottom right corner where the plastic has gotten brittle and cracked.  It is surely one of the last sealed copies left.  The photos are of the actual item for sale.
