WITH MUCH APPRECIATION TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS: If you have a question on orders received, please contact us. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. When leaving Feedback, please consider the following: eBay's policy on the 5-star rating system is anything less than a 5 reduces our standing with eBay and ultimately can affect our selling abilities. SO please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERS: We are happy to hold orders to save on shipping. Please pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and, if you request, we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.
As always, thank you for your support!
MEGA RARE R.C.P. PRIVATE PRESS
RAW HARDROCK GARAGE & PSYCH 60's Sounds
M.H.S. ROCK
...USA - R.P.C. Records (PRIVATE PRESS)
MEGA RARE ...micro private pressing (arrox 30+ years ago) of an outstanding hardrock/garage psych album by longhair teenagers, issued in such small quantity that only a few copies ever turned up and, last noted, selling right between $1000 & 2000$ ...it's that rare and very much collection worthy solid...
May have been offered on eBay only a couple times before, IF that...
The album is autographed on back by ARMADILLO Bassist Pam Bynum who notes the wine and good times...

Seven tracks by seven different bands from Manasquan High School in New Jersey. The bands include Armadillo, Pegasus, Dead-End, Voyager, Runaways, Alternate Route, Mersey. They must have been in a time warp as the entire LP has an late 60's to early/mid 70's sound with heavy garage guitar psych tracks that will thrill the lot of you. Faves are the moodier cuts like “The Little Girl Who Lived Light Years Away”. Only a handful of copies have turned up and being released on the RPC label -- Lp's on this label ("the Rubber Memory", "Daybreak", "the Gents" etc.) are always extinct -- so an extremely rare album that is not only rare, but GREAT. The cool thing about this album is that the bands involved were never heard of before or after, exclusive to this album only and sound like they could be one band -- the album flows in a cohesive way...
The album starts off with two self penned tracks by the group 'Armadillo' -- "Downbeat" is a heavy rumbling crude rocker jam, pumping bass, heavy drums with guitar leads flying everywhere, the charm and appeal like straight out of 1968 and straight into the next track "Greenleaves" which is more of the same, raw heavy rock jams with the late 60's/early 70's sounds...next up is "Pegasus" with a raw rocking take on the Stones "Brown Sugar" done in pure crude garage style...the flat vocals add to the overall charm. "Dead-End" do two more originals "Time To Bleed" and "The Night I Begged" = both fast driving hard guitar riffing jams with heavy boom bass and catchy melodies...very garagey, and for the genre, very good. Side one ends with 'The Alternate Route' who arguably do one of the best tracks, an infectious twilight moody psychy groove called "The Little Girl Who Lived Light Years Away" ...
Side two opens with "the Runaways" a double guitars led 4 piece doing "Never Go'in Back" a catchy heavy guitar strummed moody ballad that opens up in the tunes second part with great accenting heavy fuzzed-lead guitar, going out in a blaze of glory ..."Mersey" are next up with dead ringer style straight off a 1966 'Justice' Records rarity with two crude but oh-so-charming Beatles covers "If I Needed Someone" (mistitled "If I Needed You") and "Get Back." The album closes with "Voyager" doing a killer crunchy take on the old r&b tune "King Bee" but make it their own with power guitar & lumbering heavy rhythms sounding something like early "Mountain" -- the dirty distortion guitar ought to thrill the lot of you...tagged on is a driving hard guitar led jam of the old KINKS tune, "You Really Got Me" ...great stuff. So all said, not a bad track on the Lp, making it a top level (mega) rarity of the type...

CONDITION: The cover: lost looking lime green color cover with cool shot of all the members participating on the album, mainly young longhair teens (they all are) ...the cover is VG++ to "EX" (excellent) having only a trace of shelf wear only starting = so little that it should not bother anyone...otherwise with solid seams, no bends, and the only writing is by the female in one of the bands...a solid copy of an extinct album...
The vinyl: all clean, both sides. "EX" (excellent) ...crude lo-fi production adds to the overall charm of the vastoly rare album ...plays thrillingly suitable and similar to the great garage albums of the sixties...
keeper!
