Super-rare original-press copy of this much-loved psych LP, which is very highly praised in "Acid Archives." Sounds MUCH better than the reissue. Found this copy sealed (tho I've removed the shrinkwrap) and I've only played it once (to burn it for myself) -- but it does have flaws. First off, there is some water damage to the lower part of the cover. On the front, this produces rippling on the lower left hand corner; on the back, there is some water staining (both of these problems are visible in the photos). The bottom seam has some wear (no splits), and there are some creases from bending in the lower corners. Overall, though, this looks pretty respectable, as the cover is completely clean and unfaded.

Secondly, while the vinyl is essentially new, having only been played once, it does have one bad-looking pressing flaw, which resembles a deep scratch, but because it's completely parallel to the grooves (rather than at an angle to the grooves), the needle passes over it quickly and it causes very little noise. My needle tracks at a gram and a quarter, but passed right over without any trouble, so this shouldn't cause skipping on anyone's turntable. Unlike a number of copies in major collections, this copy has no warpage at all.

SO -- I rate this, conservatively, as VG+ (cover)/ EX (vinyl).
