Your chance to own this very nice copy of a rare genuine 1st UK pressing of Michael Chapman's 'Rainmaker' LP on the Harvest label. With no EMI logo on the labels, rarer 'SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE…' label text, earliest-possible matrix numbers (A-2G / B-1G) and stampers (1 G / 1 G), original Harvest inner sleeve, and outer-laminated gatefold cover with its inner printed on card and meant to be viewed vertically. Vinyl and sleeve are both in VERY GOOD+ condition throughout and record plays through perfectly with strong audio.

Vinyl: VG+ / VG+ Genuine UK 1st issue, pressed on nice 145g vinyl. Several very small and faint hairline marks on each side, plus a few other very small superficial marks - these are all visual-only and do not affect the strong audio playback. One other very small mark on Side 1 Track 1, which is just about feelable but the LP plays through fine with no sticks, skips or jumps. Some light background hiss and the odd light audio pop in places throughout the album, but this 1st UK pressing plays through with no issues and the strong audio reproduction is very enjoyable. Gatefold sleeve: VG+ Genuine UK 1st issue gatefold sleeve is laminated on the front and back with an unlaminated inside - which is meant to be viewed vertically. Some acceptable signs of storage wear to the corners and a small snag on the back section's bottom edge. Light discolouring on the front and back. Spine: VG+ Labels: EX- / EX- Genuine UK 1st issue labels have no EMI logos, with "The Gramophone Co." wording at the 10 o'clock position. Also features the rarer "SOLD IN THE U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS" over four lines, at the 11 o'clock position on both sides. Some very small and faint spindle marks on each smooth paper label, most of which are only visible when inspected under a strong light. Inners: EX- / MINT Supplied to you with the original paper Harvest company inner sleeve, plus a brand new plain white paper inner with anti-static poly dust liner.
