ARGO ZDA153: MICHAEL GARRICK TRIO 'Cold Mountain'
UK jazz rarity from 1972, this is a trio session, with Garrick joined by Dave Green (b) and Trevor Tomkins (d). This is a stereo Decca pressing with yellow/silver printing label.
Side 1 'Proclamation'/'Firstborn'/'Prayer'/'Annunciation'
Side 2 'Thanksgiving Dance'/'Cold Mountain'/'Mirands Sleeping'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is E+ (VG++) with a few very light scratches only, visible under a bright 'grading' light. The cover is EtoE+ (VG+), with minor corner damage. There is also some surface creasing and shadowing visible both front and back. There is a heavier surface crease to the bottom right hand corner and some heavier rubbing along a small part the 'shadow line' on the back only. In the top left hand corner of the front, there is a small patch of residue from the removal of a sticky label.
