Description
MICHAEL RABIN 33CX 1281 Columbia blue/gold: Glazounov/Paganini
Matrix Numbers: XAX 691/2 Mono Made in GB
Programme
Glazounov: Violin Concerto in A Minor
Paganini: Violin Concerto #1 in D Major
Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Lovro Von Matacic
Condition of Disc
Playing surfaces are glossy and clean and under strong light they show only the faintest signs of wear. On the Paganini side there are three very light marks at 10 o’clock and 4 o’clock (relative to the label) producing a few seconds of low volume ticks. This tiny flaw is the reason for the very low starting bid – a check on other sites will find this LP for sale at prices ranging from £120 - £220. The centre labels are free of writing/sticky labels or marks and there are only slight signs of wear around the centre hole. Disc has been tested on hi-fi equipment and plays beautifully with negligible high-frequency loss and only the very faintest of background noise associated with vinyl.
Condition of Sleeve
Mardons lightweight flip-back card, laminated on both sides, with no writing, sticky labels or marks. Very slight shelf wear along edges and at corners. Inner sleeve is plain white polythene-lined paperprice rating
