Extraordinarily Rare early recording by Michael Rabin Michael Rabin Plays
The record is in very good condition, the jacket has a stamp of the Company this recording once belonged to and hand written notes on how to play the record on the equipment they had..... Rabin made his first professional appearance in 1947 at age 10 with the Havana Philharmonic under Artur Rodzinski, performing the Wieniawski Concerto No. 1. His first recording was 2 years later at Columbia Masterworks. This is one of the few recordings by this tragic violinist, whose life was tragically over before the age of 36.
