Description

Truly beautiful copy of the original 1960 first pressing of Michael Rabin’s The Magic Bow LP on Capitol P-8510. One of the great violin records of the golden era, and one of the best sounding recordings of any kind ever made. Robin is just magnificent on this record, and the sound is like he is right in the room with you. Original “side logo” labels and laminated cover. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some light superficial marks that can be seen under bright light but the don’t affect the play at all. Just a perfect playing copy. The cover is also magnificently clean, with only a 1” tight split at the top and a tiny 1cm split starting at the bottom. See photos. Really no big deal. Otherwise just beautifully crisp and clean. A bit of tape residue on the back at the left side, but also no big deal. This is a truly stunning original copy. Very hard indeed to beat.
