Description

This sale is for a factory sealed copy of "Legrand Jazz" by Michel Legrand. This is from 1958 (1st pressing) on Columbia CL-1250 in mono with the 6-eye logo on the label. This recording consists of 3 different sessions with 3 different groups of players on 6/25/58, 6/27/58, 6/30/58 in New York City. The 1st recording features Miles Davis on trumpet & the songs are "Wild Man Blues", "'Round Midnight", "The Jitterbug Waltz" & "Django". The songs for the other 2 sessions are "Nuages", "Rosetta", "Don't Get Around Much Anymore", "Blue & Sentimental", "Stopin' At The Savoy", "Night In Tunisia" & "In A Mist". This is in unplayed condition & still sealed in a clear plastic bag with which was a common way of sealing LPs in the 1950's/early 1960's.

Cover : The cover is in VG condition with some edge wear, a couple of small splits, corner wear & a dinged upper right corner but otherwise this is very presentable. Make sure to check out the photos below. The spot showing on the lower front is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.

Vinyl : Looks to be NM & it is unplayed since this is still factory sealed.

Labels : Look to be NM on both sides.
