Rare 60's original on the BYG label featuring Michel Puig's masterpiece Stigmates. Highest recommendation.

Some info on the release:  Very rare original issue, released in France sometime in the 60's on the BYG label, Actuel series (that released also Musica Elettronica Viva, Sunny Murray, The Art Ensemble of Chicago, Archie Shepp, Don Cherry, Anthony Braxton, Sun Ra, Steve Lacy and Gong among others). Characterized as a chamber opera, but to my ears this one is a masterpiece of avant-garde experimentation with abstract voices and noises.

Michel Puig is a french composer and theatre director. Studied music with Rene Leibowitz, while his interest in jazz lead him close to Thelonius Monk, while he was close to abstract painters Jacques Pajak, Wilfrid Moser, Jean Messagier, Judit Reigl, René Duvillier and the sculptors Alicia Penalba and Piotr Kowalski. Musically he collaborated with Jean-Pierre Drouet and Vinko Globokar. 

Condition: Vinyl lies in very good++ condition, looks quite clean with the exception of a couple of "hairlines" and a spot and plays quite clean with minimal surface noise, while cover lies in very good condition, with yellowing and many age spots (worse than it looks on the picure above).
