this is one of the great underrated progressive records - we all know Mick Abrahams contributed tasty jazz and blues guitar work, as well as some fine compositions to the Jethro Tull debut LP This Was - and developed his talents even further on the two Blodwyn Pig albums Ahead Rings Out and Getting To This, but this one, often mis-titled A Musical Evening With. . . (due to the poster depicted on the wall behind Mick on the front cover) and its follow-up At Last always receive considerably less attention - however, the songs are all excellent, the guitar playing is fantastic (especially on Mick's extended workout Seasons), and the band are tight, tasteful and inventive - Mick composed 6 of the 7 numbers and co-wrote the other - it's a brilliant and hugely rewarding record. . .

this is the very first UK pressing with the original 'ILPS 9147' catalogue number,
record has blazing factory-fresh high gloss, labels perfect with no spindle traces
heavy gatefold sleeve, made by E. J. Day,
with the incredible embossed 'tiled' effect on the rear is exceptionally nice
lovely smell - this is a beautiful package

wenn das vinyl mal abtaster hat oder mal klickt ist bei der einstufung normal, es kann auch immer vorkommen, das sich mehr oder weniger Staub auf der Platte befindet auch das ist vollkommen Normal, auch eine Welle kann nicht immer direkt erkannt werden.......wer da gleich hysterisch wird, bitte hier nicht mitbieten, danke
If the vinyl has scratches or clicks, this is normal for the classification. It can also happen that there is more or less dust on the record, which is also completely normal. A wave can't always be recognized immediately....if you get hysterical about this, please don't bid here, thanks.
