Mick StevensThe River ORIGINAL 1977 UK PRIVATE PRESSING Spaceward Studios, Cambridge - 12-inch 33rpm, 7-track vinyl album - matrix [stamped to run-off groove areas] SRS 20 A-1 / SRS 20 B-1 - with thin gloss flipback card sleeve - with original generic poly-lined paper inner [dated 10-77] - with blue lyric insert [with side.1 printed to one face, side.2 printed to the reverse] - has another lyric insert [with print only to one face, blank on the reverse]
VINYL: NEAR MINT - labels: clean, a few mild spindle marks can be seen under strong light - vinyl: vinyl has been professionally machine cleaned, it is flat, listened all the way through, plays superbly, plays without any issues, very strong audio
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT
- clean, some mild sticker shadow/residue, no splits, some very minor edge scuffing, mild storage rub : Has to be seen as a collector's ultimate upgrade without doubt, in essence a time-warp copy, a pension fund investment of what is a very rare record :
