Special Barnes and Noble Release, 2018
To celebrate Mickey’s 90th birthday Walt Disney Records are releasing a limited edition Steamboat Willie 12” picture disc which includes the audio from the original cartoon as well as an 11 minute interview with Walt Disney about the creation of Steamboat Willie and Mickey Mouse.
In 1928, Mickey Mouse made his debut to the world through the animated Disney short Steamboat Willie. This collectible vinyl release celebrates Mickey’s 90th Birthday with images and music from the short as well as an intimate recording where Walt Disney himself reminisces about Steamboat Willie.
