Excellent (E) --- Showing only slight wear . Playing surfaces still retain much of their shine ( glossy ).
Very Good (V) --- Slight grayness , but still a fairly clean and acceptable copy . Some scuffs .
Good (G) --- The record has considerable wear and usage . Grayness in grooves , random mars and light abrasions . Surface noise is prominent .
Fair (F) / Poor (P) --- Lowest grade . Severe wear across the record .
