Description

Rare, one-of-a-kind TEST PRESS auction of Mighty High, Legalize Tres Bags LP.

Now, this isn't just any old test pressing auction.  What's being auctioned is the incredibly rare locked-groove version of the album, with a repeating belch at the end of side one that was deleted from the official release. This is the ONLY version that includes the original version of the album. Due to time and financial constraints this idea had to be abandoned.
Again, proceeds go to benefit the Cancer Research at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Legalize Tre Bags is the second full-length album from Brooklyn-based hard rockers, Mighty High, and is a gritty journey through the 5 boroughs of New York City. 11 kick ass songs bashed out in 34 minutes and containing over 30 references to getting high, including the raucous classic, “I Don’t Wanna Listen To Yes” and the mind altering rock experiences of “Chemical Warpigs” and “High on the Cross”. LP edition features the out-of-this-world artwork of Wayne “Braino” Bjerke in a gatefold jacket, including a fold out poster, and was mastered by T. Dallas Reed (Mos Generator/Stone Axe).

“The band sounds like a Punk Rock version of AC/DC, yet with the attitude of a typical New York based band (ANTHRAX, NEW YORK DOLLS, THE BEASTIE BOYS, KISS). Mix up all these bands, then you have the raw dirty mean rock and roll sound of MIGHTY HIGH. 8/10 ”  --  Strutter ‘zine

“Legalize Tre Back" is an addictive, vulgar, raw, aggresive, filthy son of a bitch. A thirty-minute bad-ass, pure garage-punk 'n' roll fun ride.  So grab a beer, roll a fatty and have fun by listening this bad boy. Mighty High are one of the most enjoyable, fun, high energy bands I've listened for a long time now. Mix up some MC5, Grand Funk, Blue Cheer with Black Flag and The Stooges for a cocktail full of pure rawk madness.”  --  Downtunedmag.com

“Fuck yeah, MIGHTY HIGH! This record is a welcome ripper from Ripple Music that both brought a smile and a snarl to my face. It charges through some punk-as-fuck heavy rock (or vice versa) that doesn't mess around with too much stuff other than intensity, energy and passion. 'Legalize Tre Bags' is a completely down-to-earth, wild and primal ride. It 's angry. It's funny. It's also a powerful jolt of rebellious energy. There's no doubt about it - MIGHTY HIGH have a grasp on what makes rock and roll so exciting; when it's done with humor, crunch and sincerity. Toss in a little irony too.” -- Cosmic Lava
