ORIGINAL copy on VERTIGO SWIRL label of the third album by the English folk artist MIKE ABSALOM, currently valued £ 150 on Record Collector's Price Guide.
The giant foldout cover has wear on sides and has been repaired along the seams from the back (as visible in one of the scans below). The black background appears to have been coloured in along the spine and in a few other parts to cover some small tears (visible in the pictures). There are no album credits visible on the spine, but I don't know if they were originally printed on this cover.
The vinyl has scuffs and marks and plays with a light constant background noise and the odd click here and there. It is housed in the original Vertigo swirl inner bag. The label carries the small swirl Vertigo logo on side B.
Though far from being a Mint item this can be a keeper's copy due to its rarity, and has been strictly graded as VERY GOOD.

RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE'S GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packag­ing might have slight wear and/or creasing. 

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable sur­face marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. 

GOOD:The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. 

FAIR:The record is still just playable but has not been cared for prop­erly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. 

Please notice that I don't use Mint but NEAR MINT (which is very close but refers to a secondhand used record) except for Sealed/Brand New/Unplayed records, and I don't sell Poor or unplayable records. I try to be as honest as possible when grading records, but a mistake can be made from time to time.

Copia ORIGINALE su etichetta VERTIGO SPIRALE del terzo album del cantautore folk inglese MIKE ABSALOM, attualmente valutato 150 sterline sulla Record Collector Price Guide.
La copertina a poster apribile in sei parti è usurata sui lati ed è stata riparata in alcuni punti dal retro (come si può vedere in una delle foto qui sotto).
Lo sfondo nero risulta ritoccato in alcuni punti lungo i lati e per nascondere qualche piccolo strappo (visibile in fotografia). Non è visibile il titolo lungo il lato sinistro, ma non saprei dire se originariamente era stampato su questa copertina.
Il vinile ha vari segni e graffi superficiali, suona con un costante leggero scricchiolio di fondo e qualche clic. Il disco è contenuto nella busta interna originale Vertigo con disegno della spirale. L'etichetta ha il logo piccolo Vertigo sul lato B.
Anche se non is tratta di un disco Mint, è sicuramente una copia da tenere, data la rarità del pezzo, ed è stata rigorosamente valutata come VERY GOOD.
