Description
Very nice UK FIRST PRESSING of the classic Mike Absalom self-titled LP on the Vertigo swirl/spiral label 6360 053, 1Y//1, 2Y//1 matrix suffixes.
The matt foldout sleeve has edge wear, light ringwear, storage grubbiness and some light brown foxing spots, light edge creases and some seam split on the right edge of the front: 2 inches at the bottom edge,, 2 inches in the middle and an inch at the top edge. There are also a few pinholes in another edge, and some scoring dents on the back. It is complete, structurally sound and exhibits nice colour, and overall grades VG-.
Swirl inner dated 0671 has edge browning, light creasing. VG.
Vinyl plays extremely well, with super, strong audio! The surface is very clean, glossy and shiny, with some light hairlines on both sides and, on side A, track 1, there is a 1.5 inch feelable line which does cause some light but obvious clicks, and a few light scuff marks which seem to have no effect on audio. There is another light line on track 5, again with no effect on audio. Side B, track 4, has a small, light line, no effect on audio. There is a little surface noise and the occasional light click here and there, but this is a great playing copy and overall, the vinyl grades VG+ to EX-.
