This is a RARE ORIGINAL UK DEMO PROMO PRESSING - NORTHERN SOUL / MOTOWN single by MIKE AND THE MODIFIERS from 1962, ORIGINAL UK PROMO PRESSING IN NEAR MINT CONDITION VINYL !!!
This is A RARE AND GREAT - NORTHERN SOUL / MOTOWN - PROMO single THAT RARELY COMES UP FOR SALE !!! This is considered to be THE RAREST UK MOTOWN RELEASE way before the MOTOWN label had a UK base and even before they were release on the STATESIDE label, their early singles came in the UK under ORIOLE AMERICAN RECORDS !!! Not only that, but this is a RARE DEMO PROMO copy (as can be seen by the silver A on side A centre of label) and comes in an UNPLAYED or MAYBE ONE PLAY CONDITION !!!
MOST OF THESE SINGLES COME IN NEAR MINT / PLAYED ONCE CONDITION, WITH THEIR ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE FROM THE RECORD SHOP BACK IN THE DAY (you can see the correct catalogue number written in the corner of the COMPANY SLEEVE as was done by the record shop back then) AMAZING CONDITION !!!
The tracks are: I FOUND MYSELF A BRAND NEW BABY / IT’S TOO BAD.
The single came out on ORIOLE AMERICAN RECORDS catalogue number 45-CBA 1775.
The condition of the vinyl is in EX+++/ NEAR MINT condition (UNPLAYED OR MAYBE 1 PLAY, has 2 light sleeve scuffs that keep away from MINT + minor publishing details written in pencil on side A label, this can probably be erased but I did not want to do that !!! ) + ORIGINAL COMPANY SLEEVE (with minor bends) !!!
OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS I WILL BE LISTING MANY TAMLA MOTOWN DEMOS / PROMOS !!!
