This auction is about a MIKIS THEODORAKIS rare 7” with an excellent sleeve. It is a HIS MASTER VOICE release (made in Greece) with a cat.num.: 7ERG  15004.

The vinyl is in a VG++ condition.

The sleeve has a not obtrusive to the eye ringwear.

 

In its three movements, Mikis Theodorakis successfully exploits Cretan folk tunes. The first, vivo, is a free rhythmic and melodious development of the Cretan dance SYRTOS CHANIOTIKOS, the second contrasting movement, largo, consists of variations on the folk song AETOS(eagle), and the final allegro is, as said by the composer, “a free passing through the arch of Cretan rhythmic and melodious idioms”.
