Miles' groundbreaking session with Gerry Mulligan, Max Roach, J.J. Johnson, Kai Winding, Lee Konitz, Al Haig, Junior Collins, Kenny Clarke, John Lewis, Nelson Boyd, Al McKibbon, Sandy Siegelstein and Gunther Schuller.

Vinyl - Near Mint / Near Mint Minus   Side One is NM- and Side Two is NM. Altogether, what separates this from NM+ are what I term 'Spider Web' superficial sleeve scuffs - which are difficult to see except in the harshest possible back light. The gloss of the plating has not dimmed with time and is just spectacular. The labels are near pristine and have only the faintest evidence that this LP has ever been on a turntable. (see photos).

Jacket - Near Mint Minus     A modest shelfwear pattern can be seen in reflective light, but color loss is virtually non-existant. Seam edges are very nice, tight and smooth, with a little wrinkling on the top seam. The spine is fully legible, straight and smooth (see photos). Light shelfwear on back cover and a very small, light stain center bottom margin.

Original copies of this classic are few and far between in this select degree of condition, so I invite you to throw your hat in the ring on this one.

SHIPPING NOTES:

Green Shipping To conserve energy and provide fast shipment, I take purchases to the Post Office at least twice a week – sometimes 3 times. This way you will never have more than a 48 / 84 hour gap between payment and shipping.

All orders packed in LP Shipment grade mailing boxes.  I don't construct my own - these are legit and virtually Post Office proof.  The inside of the mailer is safely reinforced with recycled cardboard and / or Bubble wrap or Poly padding.

SPECIAL NOTE: Until further notice, I have a small number of sturdy mailing boxes that will accommodate 10 -12 LP's – so if you want to save a bundle on shipping and would like to combine several auction wins – please be my guest.

Because I ALWAYS provide delivery confirmation to you FREE of charge, you can track it. Having said that – now and then, USPS Media Mail is going to be slower now because of the cutbacks - so, I will gladly, per your request, provide Priority shipping as an option at a similarly reasonable cost.
